I've recently came across a similar situation where the investigation with the carrier and the internal investigation of the shop claimed suspicion of manipulation - I've already found my problem and fixed it so it won't happen in the next SE, but I wonder if those investigations really lead to something like a complaint / charges against my person or similar.

I placed the order from another country they didn't make any police report. and since they denied the refund I got the money back through paypal

no problem. i just gave paypal that they didn't refund my return. i uploaded the track as proof and they refunded me

You're in luck as I had PayPal request a police report
Were there any problems charging back the money with PayPal?

no problem. i just gave paypal that they didn't refund my return. i uploaded the track as proof and they refunded me

Without getting too much into details, I forced it to get it checked by DHL and forget a crucial part which basically was a dead-giveaway of fraud.
