is FTID dead? #1
I think more and more retailers start investigate (for real) with couriers and find out that the returned label is just a empty envelop so they refuse to refund...
Any thoughts?

Not dead, just not as easy to pull off and still very effective for paypal and CC chargebacks

I just followed the FTID v3 guide. Edited pretty much everyting except the barcode. I was kinda expecting it to fail since it was a first one, and I sent an empty envelope for a quite heavy and large item. The item wasn't very expensive though, only ~100 euro. Obviously they investigare more if it's a pricier item so you might want to add some weight.

Did another FTID which seems to be really messed up haha. This parcel also had a QR-code on it, which the idiot I am didn't do any changes to. So now the package has been going back and forward between two (?) shops.
Tracking said delivered to 'X', then when I was about to ask the shop for a refund after two weeks, the package went back to 'in transit' and got delivered to 'Y'. And it doesn't stop there, now it's back at 'X'  xD
No idea how to get out of this one. Might do a PP-claim if the shop doesn't refund, saying that it got delivered, or is it a bad idea?

Also I made a third FTID with Klarna which seems to work fine for now, package got delivered. With Klarna you can even add the tracking info, and they even say they side with the buyer if it says delivered and no refund ha been issued. With this parcel I edited the QR-code until it wasn't scanable anymore. Other than that I edited everything as usual.
We'll see how it goes.

After these has been solved I'm gonna try LIT, think I found a better way to do it without raising any suspicion.
Don't know though how LIT works with PP-claims etc.? Also some companies doesn't seem to take responsibility for lost packages  Sad

Thank you for sharing! Might try through klarna as then my own money isn’t on the line, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of editing the label properly after a few tries. I haven’t heard much good about LIT but if you can make it work I’d be interested Smile
