so couple years back i SE'd airpod pro 1st gen. could I order a new one and then swap them and say I got a used one? does that work? or will they deny because or serial number issues? I'm thinking maybe to not hit apple directly instead amazon or bestbuy

I swapped a while back some second hand airpods pro (they were basically new, just been opened before) on Amazon. Went smooth, they didn’t check serial. I wouldn’t try it on a new sealed pair though.

for pro 2nd i did with replicas but tore the charge pins and claimed it did not charge and resend them without charge, however i did something similar with series 1st/3rd, i just swapped them for replicas and told amazon in the return comments/reason that these had charging/pairing issues and i got my refund like in 30 days? All of the SE's were successful.
