update: Do not open investigation with meta for EB/DNA if you're planning to do pp charge back, it will be sent to their investigation team and they might later notice that there was a chargeback and they'll brick the device.
had to go through a lot of trouble to get it unsuspended

How long from the time you got the refund from PP did they decide to brick the device? I'm little scared lol.

a week later, but It's only because I had a investigation open for EB from prior which I didn't bother to call off, so they believed the device was lost/stolen and money was charged back so they decided to brick it, otherwise I doubt it will happen.

edit: checking the email again, I realized the device wasn't actually bricked but the quest account was suspended, I think I could've just logged into a different account and would've have been fine

The Meta investigation is taking so long, it's been almost two weeks and they can't even provide me with a timeframe, just the same boilerplate replies whenever I reach out. How long did yours take (the Meta investigation, I haven't started the PP dispute yet)? Also, another question, have any of you started using the headset before the investigation concluded? I realise patience is the game and all, but do you think they would notice or is it safe to start using it?

I'm in same boat but definitely dont turn it on. Saw countless ones fail due to this. It's being confirmed before until its well and truly over they can check the activity at any point

It will work as well, it doesn’t matter that much for PP method. However if you want the headset for yourself, the Quest 3 seems like a better device overall anyway, you can look up some comparisons.
