Samsung - bypassing DPD collection #1
I’m part way though a warranty SN claim with Samsung. They’ve arranged for the item to be returned via their courier, DPD, but insisting on a collection rather than supplying a pre-paid label. I’ve tried circumventing this (rarely at home etc) but no joy so far. Any suggestions?

I managed in February to get a return label for warranty claim but it took 3 months and samsung denied it in the uk.

How about you could tell them that that you're currently not in the country and that they should give you another option? Work might be busy or whatever, who knows :p

How many attempts they doing ? I know some doing 3 attempts before marking unsuccessful. Normally straight after 3rd attempt getting in touch with boxer to do insider scan and then either damage report or simple LIT. Job done Smile

I tried SN methond on them and got a label, dry iced them. They said they will get back to me with a solution a week ago, so still waiting. So maybe try to dry ice method or keep insisting on return label. Tell them you work late hours and it would be more convinient to get a return label.

dry ice doesn’t melt, it evaporates. Hence so effective. Depends on the amount, I used around 200 gram and it did the job.

Dude I really like the idea of dry ice for lighter items but as It Gets heavier it gets really icky in my opinion I've never tried it with anything when it expands into kilos

yeah, I had 250 grams so worked perfectly. It depends on the delivery time, but yes, anything over kilo is risky and requires precise calculations!
