Trying to SE a bunch of PC parts (Postie came knocking on my door) #1
Hey guys, my first post here.
So I'm trying to SE a bunch of PC parts as a DNA,
My housemate signed for the first batch of parts using his real name and signature (which is fine I didn't wanted to SE that anyway)
Then when the second batch came through I asked him to sign it using a fake name and signature.
I then rang up the company and they said they'll query an investigation.
Now comes yesterday, the same postie who regularly drops off the packages knocks on my door and pretty much tries to explain the above, saying it's not his problem and made it very clear that the man who signed the first batch of items was the same person who signed the second batch, but under a different name and pretty much told me to go speak to that guy (my housemate).
I remained calm throughout the whole thing and said I never received the second package, but I indeed received the first package.
I also paid for shipping insurance via the PC parts company hoping that would've covered me.
What should I do here?

Abit of a backstory, I have a gut feeling real name has already been reported to the local postal company since I had a failed FTID on ebay,
And I've also claimed 2g's worth of insurance for an item that was missing in transit.
I just hope I could get away with this one and take a break from SE'ing lol

Always fun when carriers come back to your door. allthough, if it's just a signature i think you should be fine. it's not signed with ur name neither did U claim the package urself. i think u should be able to work it out.
Heard a few ones like this still working out fine.

No problem but for helping with what is the best way to SE it's good to know what shop and where it's located. Some shops are no go shops and u can get trouble.

How are we supposed to help you then, when we don't know the company/delivery company???

Its not just a signature, its a after conformation that you actually received the parcel and nothing will happen to the driver. But you wont receive your refund, does not matter what you are saying.

Okay all I'm gonna say is I'm from Aus and the post company is the main postal service

Remain adamant with your dna. Do not back down. Your postie will always remember you as a liar otherwise.

As for your friend, if the postie ever questions him in the future he can just say the parcel he signed was for a completely different order.

I mean it's only the one delivery driver who handles my street/suburb.
He does seem like a good guy too, I'd hate to do him injustice.
I might say he thought it was an order he made with a different courier.
It's just if I remain adamant, wouldn't his supervisor keep pressing him about it?

It's up to you. Since its the main postal service of Aus I doubt they'd impose any fines on him.

Remember, "YOU" didn't receive the parcel nor sign for it. I honestly think you should stick with the plan. You didn't receive the parcel. If your postie brings up your friend, your friend can say the parcel he signed was for something completely different.
