There is a plenty of different methods you can use. And you always can make legit return.

I think this is what I'm going to do. WIR just seems silly since Amazon notorious has that 'we confirmed the correct item was sent from our warehouse' email. Whereas with a DNA, Amazon always gives you the opportunity to do a PR and I haven't done one since early winter.
