They told they will send me an email with a  declaration that I need to fill so from that they con proceed with the investigation. They didn't send anything yet but I think it's normal since it's Sunday. Eventually I told them that I need the pc  asap because my brother is graduating and he deserves a new machine and they told me to not worry since we are "protected"

the pack actually weighs more than 3 kg but in the label  it's written just 1 kg. If I claim eb and they find out that my delivered pack was apparently too light to have a macbook inside of it why my claim wouldn't be accepted?

The package Is weighed when packed, prior to being dispatched and at the depot, hence they can refer to any one of those points and Identify the correct weight.

If you're boxing using dry ice, wouldn't the weight be different at each of these points? That would cause problems, right?

Just a couple questions mate, was looking to do the exact same thing with macbook and dry ice. Did you simply opt for EB as in the macbook was completely missing or MEB as in the macbook box arrive with no laptop? Also, which retailer was this? Well played!
