Hi everybody

I want to share my recent experience with apple. Bought an Iphone 14 and when was delivered I claimed EB. It took me some pictures of the empty box and 15 minutes of sad call with the rep, then the refund was approved. It shocked me the way was easy, I am wondering if they loosen up as last year.

I am trying again on another name and address etc. will keep u updated with the results.

Anyone else having it so easy?

As soon as the funds are clear in the account, you’re good to turn it on. As far as I am reading, Apple doesn’t blacklist imei, but @mothered could be more help in this.

Are you from Italy? If so how did you manage to live chat with Apple? They tell me that only phone call is available

Ok, this time I have tried a different approach: I still said EB but in this case I requested for a replacement and I invented a story of how I don’t need a refund as long as i have the phone by the middle of next month. It looks like the whole thing is going ahead because I was asked to send pictures of all the angles of the boxes and one where the serial number is legible, and now a new order has been opened by them and treated as RMA (? Weird). I don’t wanna say success yet though because the guy on the phone this time said that I will need a PR but in the email no PR was requested and the new order is opened and just waiting to be shipped.
I plan to refund once it gets delivered, I will call it a success once ysee the money back.

also, how can you just give a new address? Did you move or are you using a friends address?

I speak as I did it myself but this second try is in the name and the address of a friend of mine so payment name and address are completely different, just same city

Correct, but they have the capacity to see activity on certain devices, such as Apple Watches.
