Maybe I should try dell or something like that, I see they have pretty clean monitors, what do you guys think about that?
I'm based in France btw if that helps
Dell Alienware monitors are very easy to DNA in the UK. Up to £900 seems to be very easy to do. I personally did a £500 240hz monitor and it was very quick and easy.
dell are easy to dna without a PR? They told me in the USA a pr was required and it was around $1500
Hope This Helps

Yeah but I'm in France, so I don't think it will be that easy I guess...
I believe the SE works so well since Dell give you a refund before any real investigation takes place as a goodwill gesture and to ensure the customer is satisfied. its got a good chance of going well if I had to say.
Do they start an investigation after? I see they use UPS and I just SEd them so don't want to raise suspicion

Alright, trying it by the end of june, keeping you, updated.
Should I use a drop and a fake name for more safety ?
And what method should I use ? DNA?
Not really needed in my opinion. I used a drop address only because I had recently DNAed ups and didn't want to do another one so soon. A simple DNA is what I did.

This is clear misinformation as I have recently tried this myself. Tried to DNA an expensive monitor from Dell UK and they asked for a PR. following response:
"In case if you have not received the order we would require you to lodge a complaint with the police and get back to us with the copy of police complaint reference to proceed further."

Well it's not misinformation, everything I have ever said to do with dell is objective fact surrounding mine and my friends experience with it. You should know as an SEr that companies frequently change their approach to dealing with problems and will seemingly randomly change their protocol as time goes on. If you try it and it doesn't work, take the loss and either return it or proceed with the police report/contest the police report request. Said expensive monitor cost £929.00 and was most recently ordered around 2-3 weeks ago and he succeeded without much push back and definitely no police report.

It is safe to say then that Dell no longer works with DNA.

A PR is not an insurmountable obstacle though...

It is not for the most part. But it becomes an insurmountable obstacle if you have done a PR previously. You risk the police questioning you on the matter.
