I plan on SE a ps5 from amazon but an item of that value must require an otp, how do i go about it and does anyone know if Curry,s would be any better/different. I also plan on using an account under someone else's name so a pr will be an issue.

get it delivered to a hub collection point (not locker) then you can run the damaged empty box method

i used this to run about 6 iphone 14 pros but Amazon is cracking heavily down on refunds and these methods

no otp is required and it removes the fact that if you're claiming the package was damaged then they can't say you should have refused delivery of the item etc

Thanks, ill see what other methods will be suggested, whoever runs the counter could dispute and say the parcel was intact which i fear.

The line I used was "I spoke to the people at the counter and they said they couldn’t do anything and for me to contact amazon directly"

The hub collections are just normal shops etc so I highly doubt amazon would contact them.

all depends 9/10 i've not had to file a pr but there was one occasion where I had to and I filed it with only a name no address and it was successful. dont be afraid of the pr's the police have better things to do than investigate an empty box.

it's pretty much and open and closed investigation

Hit the WIR - It never triggers a PR.
