[broken item] Swapping Smart TV with broken one 04-04-2023, 11:08 AM

Hey guys,
a couple of days ago I read a thread of someone who had successfully performed an SE on replacing a new Smart TV with a broken one.
I will try the same thing now, however my approach is a little different.
Instead of replacing the TV with one who doesnt turn on at to perform a SB method, I replace it with one that has a damaged panel but still turns on to perform a "broken item" method
Reason is, it was the only available on ebay...
So I bought the broken TV from ebay. A Toshiba 4K 65" TV for 50€
Then I bought the same TV from Kaufland.de (a german retailer with fulfillment services)
The TV was send out yesterday from Spain to Germany.
My plan is to SE the costumer support by saying the TV arrived damaged. Nothing uncommon tbh if you keep the long travel distance in mind.
Then I will carefully switch the S/N stickers with a hair dryer and package everything very well.
My only concern would be this:
Since the TV still turns on most of the Screen is functional, what are the chances of the company to countercheck the S/N from the back of the screen with the S/N in the TV settings under "info"?!?
Is this thought too far already?
What could happen in the worst case?
Thanks for support guys!
