I'm aware of that.

You'd say the replacement Is faulty, they'll request the return, and then box them.
Simple.

I've tried this but in my case i think it didn't work, might be country dependent is my guess

This was their reply:
Quote:... so in order to repair your product we are offering a free of charge pick up and return (repair also free). Additionally, the repair can take up to 10 business days. Then, the product will be sent back to you.

I take it they don't do replacements and instead pickup the item to repair it. I don't think i could box them as they will of course say they didn't got it.
I said toothbrush overheated and won't turn on.

Forgot to mention they called it "service center" and looking at their store they entitle themselves as "Technical Assistance for Domestic Appliances". So it's not going to Philips but rather to a store who has partnership with them and provides assistance

@mothered

Any thought on this? Should i still try to box them? Don't think there's other alternative

Simply tell them you'd like a replacement, for the reason that a repair Is a second-hand unit and a replacement Is brand new.

Idk why you wouldn't just shoplift the toothbrush. It's so easy to just steal one.

Well, it's not actually a second-hand because their goal is to repair the one "i have", i believe

Once anyone touches your product by repairing It or otherwise, It becomes a second-hand unit.

Would you purchase a brand new one In a sealed box as per the manufacturer's state, or a brand new one that's been opened, repaired, and resealed In the box?

Their answer:
Quote:Although, I wanted to inform you that the process of repair/replacement is not being handled directly from us agents, but depends on the service centers, the technicians and the incidence of every case and product. So the process of repair/replacement is being handled completely from the service centers. Also, in case of not available products to replace, our authorized service centers will refund you the whole amount of money you paid according to the proof of purchase.
