Amazon Return Broken #1
Hello,

Has anyone had any success purchasing a new electronics item from amazon and returning their old one (same brand/model)? Would it work for an item that was shipped from amazon but sold by a third party? Would you recommend keeping it below a certain $?

Yes that will work. The best is, to select an item from amazon warehouse with condition: very good.

What about serial number? There will be incompatibility

Warehouse checks their items pretty rigorously prior to shipping them out, I wouldn't risk it

Amazon Is meticulous with checking returns, so the probability of failure Is high.

It would interesting if we could gather some information about how meticulous Amazon employees are in every country. Mothered, do you think we could do something like that? We could gather information through anonymous polls and maybe define a sort of framework, a range, or something, based on empiric evidence of other users of the forum. Would it make sense?

Yes It makes perfect sense.

For It to work effectively, we'd need an array of members In different regions who've had vast experience with Amazon returns.

I'll open a post in a few days. Of course the anonymous nature of our data makes it impossible to actually trust those results at 100%. But still, we can try and it could be useful.
