I did not proceed with goat instead i went to ebay to dna a big reseller store on ebay, ebay is now requesting a stat dec.. am i able to write it all down myself (forge it) or do i have to legitimately go to a jp

A stat dec Is not legally binding on Its own, so don't forge It.

Have It signed In the presence of an authorized witness - police officer, doctor, pharmacist, etc.

Just because i have never done one before and unsure what the process is.. so if i get one signed by one of my family members who is authorised to do it, and submit it to ebay that is okay? i assume it is required for ebay to move forward with their investigation

Rest assured, there Is nothing to be concerned about.

As you've said, It's only required to move forward with the claim, so It's perfectly fine to sign It.
