How would I find out if it’s susceptible?

I couldn’t find much about it.

That was a very quick research.

Does that mean that I shouldn’t do it? Or does Amazon research that too?

If It's not susceptible to leakage, the method should not be used.

During In depth Investigations, there are times when the manufacturer was In fact contacted and questioned as to whether or not a leak Is possible.

I honestly can’t find anything. Only ones that have disposable batteries have any articles. It’s a lithium battery. Amazon thinks it was covered in cleaner.
Any other ideas or just return?

I realize the return will be collected, but as long as they don't request to leave the package open so It can be Inspected, you can box them.

UPS is picking up the package. The battery may have a leaking battery. Amazon cant do anything unless UPS declines to pick up. What do I do?

Man, are you going to say the battery is leaking? Well it's not your fault the item was damaged or faulty, whatever it is " it's burning your hands something fierce " and caused your little sister to get burns on their hands. Tell UPS that, they aren't picking up that! That's dangerous as a mofo! Burns, burns, irritates, touched your eye and had to go to the doctor. Find/take pictures of your hands, or better yet your siblings hands. Battery acid or whatever it is, is dangerous. I would have called the paramedics for me and my sibling, who told you to immediately dispose of the package, or they did it for you! Tell UPS all that, they aren't picking that up. Screw that, what if it severely hurts someone!

Don't buy their BS, anything can be damaged or leak, that's not your fault. But get your method/plan straight and figured out and stick to that! Don't change things up unless it benefits you. Keep at them.

I’d rather keep it to that if reasonable instead of getting into boxing, etc. if possible. Do you think there’s an issue with this route?

There's no Issue, but due to the nature of the method and Amazon's expectations, be prepared for a lengthy process.
