OP should've used the one-time exception method to avoid all this hassle of filing PR.

I'm sure @mothered would be better at explaining it, but it is part of apple's policy to give each customer a one-time exception for repairs, returns, or refunds without adhering to protocol. From the posts I read from this forum, you could explicitly say if they could make a one-time exception for this order while a claim is being processed.

It's not a method, but rather a courtesy refund that's Issued by disregarding the circumstances of the claim.

It's applicable only once per account.

According to their 48 hour investigation, my package was delivered successfully. Kept pushing once again, and now they're saying they will escalate this to one of their Senior Customer Specialist or Supervisor. I should receive a status update within 24 hours, but wow, I never thought I would have to go through this much trouble.

By the way, do you think it is too late to ask about that one-time exception policy?

can you explain this a bit better ? It seems like if you ask for this they refund you no matter what , but I think it's just an exageration

That's actually smooth sailing compared to other SEs that've taken months to finalize.

It's not too late - In fact It's appropriate.

When all else fails, that's the best time to request a one-time exception.

Talked to 2 different supervisors today and they both told me that I would have to contact law enforcement.  This is unfortunate, but I guess I'll just return it.

I also tried the one-time exception card, and they told me that they will not be able to offer that at this time.

What was their reason to decline the claim?

Why not?

If you haven't already been doing so, you need to question every reply that does not provide a reason for their decision(s).

Considering asking this one boxing service to try and fix this order by using FTID or whatever he deems best, thoughts?
