I'm thinking about DNA an Xbox off amazon, but I wanted to know if they will ban it based on the serial number because they thought it was stolen. After all, I know the ps5. If you report the serial number to sony and say it was stolen, they will ban it. does anyone know

Have not done this myself personally but i am almost certain that amazon would not blacklist the serial of an XBOX. If you had ordered from microsoft directly then maybe there would be a higher chance.

First and foremost, will an OTP be required on delivery?

If you report the serial number to sony and say it was stolen, they will ban it

Sony has the capacity to blacklist the serial number and remove access to all online services.

Whether or not they do, remains to be seen.

I do not know if it will require otp is there a way to check before ordering it

I ran the gauntlet and can confirm my device was not blacklisted once all had been said and done

I SE'd an Xbox from Target recently by telling them the console was missing from the box. I even picked it up in store. 3 day investigation then I was refunded.
