Does any company just refund in the chat anymore ffs?

The cost of administration and manpower, Is not worth pursuing the claim - It will outweigh the Item cost tenfold+

Cycling through reps works as well. Did one at Christmas for £250, first rep didn't even offer to investigate just told me if you want a refund then feel free to return the items then closed chat. Even thought he parcel was left just lying in the garden. 30 minutes later I connected to another rep and was refunded through chat straight away.

You got lucky. I contacted them a number of times and the previous actions taken on the order were logged and accessible to the reps I talked with subsequently. Maybe it's a new thing, but I tried to get around the first one sending an inquiry to the postal service, went back on about an hour later and the new rep had the details as to what had been done and said they were waiting on a response from the carrier.
