I was pretty much banned but they say I I'm only "suspended"
last year due to "selling counterfeit products"

Which is bs. I had all positive feedback and sold thousands worth through ebay but they didn't care and suspended me forever Over one item.

I tried contacting support for weeks at the time but they didn't care at all.


Does anyone know how I can bypass this? I want to be able to sell again and not just buy on there

Exactly the same thing happened to me and to this day i have not recovered the account. You end up in what i call the customer service death loop where you try to login and you get a message saying that you account is suspended and you need to contact CS to have it resolved. When you contact CS and give your username they say sorry this account has been banned and we are not able to discuss anything regarding it. There is seemingly no way to break out from this endless loop and the sad thing is in my case and very possibly yours they have made a mistake.

We're in the same boat. They couldn't provide any proof and said they couldn't even reconsider the decision if they wanted too.

What annoys me the most is I know I didn't do anything wrong, if I had tried to scam someone and get a refund or something like that I wouldn't care and I'd understand But this is completely unjustified.


Have you tried to make a new account all?

I did try to make a new account which was instantly banned as soon as I listed something to sell. If you are actually guilty of selling counterfeit items then i agree that this is how you should be treated but they have not done their due diligence. I hate to think of how many sellers who use eBay as their main source of income have been destroyed by this.

Not possible to be reinstated through customer service.
There are services out there on other forums claiming they can reinstate accounts from all kinds of suspensions but it is expensive (just under $1000).

Alternatively you can buy a new "ghost" account but they are quite expensive these days too.
The downside is that you would have had to start from the beginning.

My reason for wanting to bypass is because it seems much easier than doing just that.

I got replies but obviously not with the outcome I wanted.
They refused to provide evidence it was counterfeit stating that if they told me how they knew it was counterfeit it would make their job harder since I could fix the "flaws" I even offered to provide receipts
(genuine receipts. I didn't even know about SEing like this last year)
of the item and more pictures but they refused saying something along the lines of "we have investigated your case thoroughly enough to ensure no mistakes we're made so we cannot reverse or remove the suspension"

I can't say I tried my best to get them to remove it or I'd still be calling and emailing multiple times till this day.
But in my opinion I tried enough.
