They are likely to ask for ID/signature. Be aware of that.

do you mean the courier will ask for ID when delivering or when I submit my EB claim?

No, I mean that it is likely Oakley will. They are doing that recently.

Will that be an issue if I am using my real name and address for the order?

Not sure what they do with it. I did, and I am still alive. You should be fine.

I assume they just keep it on their system and if you try to SE them too many times they will have an easier time chasing you down.

They keep It on file for account verification purposes.

Order has arrived, the glasses on their own weigh 34g, in their case they weigh 170g, the case was inside a box which was then shipped inside an additional box.

I was wondering could I claim the glasses and their case was missing as the CCTV would probably just show the box being placed into the postage box? would rather not have to send them back the case as they resell on their own for £30/£40. Or if anyone could advise if they even ask for the case back when you claim the glasses were missing?

The lighter the better, hence claim only the glasses were missing.

If they request to send back the case, box the return.
