^ Exactly what I was going to suggest.

They can also be boxed (boxing method), by just adding a little extra packing to make up the weight of the phone.

Alright, thank you very much for the tips. Will update this as soon as I have news Smile

It’s been a while but I started the se last week. Contacted the support and told them I didn’t find the package in my mailbox. I think everything went good, and they told me I’d get an answer in the next 30 days.
That was 6 days ago so I decided to push them a bit and asked them for updates on the « investigation ». Hopefully everything will go smoothly!

Under the circumstances, an Investigation Is standard procedure.

Contact them a couple more times over the 30 day period (now at 24 days), and ask where your claim stands.

I contacted them ~24 days, they said they were still waiting for an answer from the transporter. The 30 days end tomorrow, so I contacted them again today, asking if there were any updates. I started acting like I was a bit angry and tired of the process taking so long. Is this a good idea? What should I expect from them now?

How did they respond to that?

They told me they are entirely responsible for what happened, and that they will solve the issue « at my satisfaction ». That’s what they’ve been telling me since I contacted them for the first time.

Well that's a positive sign.

Was that your last conversation with them?

They just replied to my message:
« Please understand that our request to the carrier indicates that this package was delivered to the address provided by you and you say that you did not receive it, in this case we are obliged to open the claim with the carrier, and this is what we have done. We are the contractual partner of the carrier, which means that the opening of the claim and its further development is our responsibility. Unfortunately, we are still awaiting resolution. We sincerely apologise for the delay in resolving this matter and for the inconvenience this is causing. However, we cannot affect the investigation time, as this is determined by the carrier itself, and not by us. We apologise profusely for this frustration. Please be assured that we will monitor this issue and inform you as soon as we receive updated information. We appreciate your patience and understanding in dealing with this matter. »

Notice that I stated that I knew the package was delivered to me, but that I didn’t find it in my mailbox when I got back home.

They told me the investigation would take up to 30 days, but it looks like it might take more. I’m thinking of calling them directly in a couple of days if it’s not solved by then.

Investigation times are not set In concrete - they vary depending on the complexity of the claim, as well as the Information that needs to be collected and assessed.

Contact them every so often asking where your claim stands.
