What happened exactly ? What did you order how did you try to play it out? I’ve said it before Amazon are becoming so hard to get anything out of these days I’m trying to get a MacBook and Amazon seems a good option but I’m so worried they won’t pay out… think I might give Amazon a wide birth

I did it on a 1200 necklace. Claimed I received everything box and jewlery box but inside there was no necklace. I think my mistake 2 begin was using an acct I hadn't used for a while cuz I was using my gfs since she had prime. I got passed the customer service people but it got upgraded to ofm amazon dept and wasn't able to get them to budge. Necklace weighed under 40g. That's why I chose that method

What’s ofm mean? And Amazon’s getting tight like a say, did they ask for a PR?

Ofm is a department above customer service. It's like their assholes get 10x tighter. If you don't raise flags I don't think you'll flag them tho. I just didn't have prior orders for several months and didn't even think about it

That’s probably why she isn’t responding as thought she was a he haha, silly me… all I want to do is a MacBook Air but the uk seems really shitty at the min with company’s just refusing anything also mainly Amazon, but Argos ( like your best buy I suppose ) delivers their own stuff, John Lewis is tight ( hard ) haven’t seen anything about ao

I suppose one of the things I would want to know is how to do the MacBook by walking into Argos and buying it, would I sit in the car take it out to say it wasn’t in the box? Do I take it home try seal it back up? If so how the he’ll do you seal it back up? I think the 2020 MacBook has the plastic wrap but the new 2022 air has the pull tag? Is that do able? I dunno someone help me haha @mothered

That's a big item to hit if ur new new or unconfident. I think it's called the boxing method. You'll have to look it up. Research your carriers the terms and services of their liability etc etc. Try some clothes off nike first if it's ur first hit. Boost ur confidence get a little experience imo. Nikes ez.

In all fairness mate I’ve had 3-4 years of refunds before I even know about this page, or what it’s actually called I’ve just enjoyed getting stuff refunded how ever I can. Which has worked 99% of the time, asos, PLT, Argos, Amazon, game? Curry’s but nothing over like £200 i got a whole house full of smart home tech for nothing from all different retailers, opening light bulb boxes from the bottom and gluing them back together worked well.. it’s just the cellophane around the apple products that gets me or the new pull tabs in not sure where I would look for that sort of info
