Question about DNA #1
Hey there, sorry if this is stupid but is it bad to dna multiple times in row or within a certain time frame?

I see many people using DNA almost carelessly
So my question is if I DNA two different stores but they are both delivered by UPS for example, is it bad for me? Will UPS stop delivering to me? Look into my claims alot more?

I'm looking to know if there's any consequences to using dna or even EB repetitively.

RE: Question about DNA #2
Actually got a question like this through telegram regarding my recent thread about my SE's. If you look, there's a lot of them that are DNA. I know mothered says that using the same method over and over again within the same time frame could ultimately end badly / failed SE.

I've used DNA 3-5 times within a month before and all pan out. Most of the time when the company says they'll contact UPS/FedEx, they actually don't. It's like an internal investigation. (Gotten that info from an insider at a carrier.) With items like Macbooks, there will be an investigation.

Usually all depends on the price of the product. But even like mothered says, don't use the same method over and over again.

A couple of DNAs from the same carrier servicing the delivery, won't have an Impact on you.

Just don't abuse It.

Thank you very much for the in depth response,
This was very helpful for me. I'll definitely still be cautious when using the same method but I'll be a lot less paranoid.

Been DNAing the shit out of things recently and haven't had a carrier issue yet. But I think I am starting to get into muddy waters in that regard. I think it only becomes an issue if there is an actual carrier investigation carried out (sometimes they say there is and there is not, other times it is clear there is). I hit Oakley for a small order a few months back and the bastards opened an investigation, asked for ID and everything. The tracking on the order showed a problem with delivery and associated investigation, now I am in the process or trying Ray-Ban and think I may not easily do this without issue because it's another Luxotica company and they use UPS too. May have to abandon the SE if I cannot finesse it appropriately. Really don't want to because the item is high value and stylish as fuck. Better safe than sorry though.

If It's only a pair of shades you're SEing, why not EB It?

It has a very high success rate with Ray-Ban.

I read a thread recently where a forum member was EBing Ray-Ban and they still asked him for ID and a signature. I was thinking that due to already having to do this with Oakley that if I claim EB for this and they want ID/sig, then seeing as they are both from the same parent company it would potentially be an issue. And if I do EB it's had to abandon the SE and return it legitimately if things go south, whereas with a DNA I always have the option of abandoning the attempt and saying it turned up somewhere somehow.

Ridiculous - both requests have no relevance to claiming the goods were missing from the case.

Tell them to justify It In full. I can assure you they can't.

They don't work off the same database when assessing claims, so you'll be fine.

You can do the same with the EB.

Is one dna every month from the same carrier too much? I find just about every place that's easy to DNA uses ups.
Also, would a broken bottle of perfume count as a carrier investigation as well?
I think I read your se guide a long time ago that had information like this but I see it's not available anymore, so sorry for commenting on an old thread!

Not as likely as claiming missing goods.
