A chargeback is something you'll have to try if amazon doesn't help you

That was Revolut
AFAIK, Amazon are stringent with checking returned products, so that outcome isn't suprising. DNA is usually best.

+ yes you should normally receive your refund even if your account is closed, if after 2 weeks you haven't received anything it's dead
what you can do is send an email to ofm saying that you want to print an old invoice, they will unblock your account for 48 hours, during this time you call Amazon by phone (the agents will have access to your account) and you ask where your refund went

I’ve noticed Amazon is practically the only company to respond and fight chargebacks. Ive lost 2 of the 4 i tried with them.
But I then immediately file another chargeback or 2 or 3 on any large purchase i made in the last couple months with companies that never bother to respond so I make up for losing the chargeback with Amazon.

Every case is individual, even if they respond, like the Revolut is mainly on your side if you have enough proof and you're evidence is on point. I didn't have no problems with their chargebacks, but mainly I did them on g2a Amazon gift cards, it was working like a charm.
