Again, thanks precious advices you all give. I am located in EU, I wanted to get some sunglasses, I am currently thinking to hit rayban from their website. I have a question about it. I know I should claim that the glasses are not in their case. How much should I wait before calling them? I read someone saying 48h, I’d love to know your opinion.

Alternatively, I read on this forum someone mentioning hitting luxottica group brands. Since I live in the same country where luxottica got their factories, I wanted to know if the glasses ship from them (luxottica) or from the warehouses of the brands. In case, do you know if some of them do have cameras?

Given you'll claim the sunglasses were missing from the case, It will render the CCTV footage Inconclusive - It obviously cannot detect the contents of the case.

The rep was kind, and he sent me an e-mail with some information I do have to provide. Namely, my ID card (+signature), photo of the empty box and of the label. In the e-mail it is written that the ID card is needed for the carrier investigation, which is in my opinion useless since I said the package was perfectly fine, was just missing the sunglasses in their case. It is also stated that the carrier may be coming back to re-take the package.

If you have any suggestion, you are welcome!

In the reply email, I precised that the box was NOT indeed empty, but rather the sunglasses' case.

Update, got refunded today. 2/2 success SE, but I am still on easy stores and I think I will keep doing these on need. Thanks again for the concern, wish you successful 2023.
