I’ve been around since the actual SEing days not the refunding phase, but I have just seen a post about someone talking about having submitted too many police reports? Guys no, please don’t file actual police reports, instead use action fraud, you can fill in fake details and you get a real crime reference number. I’ve used real details and nothing happens. This allows you to keep on the safer end of the stick. They ask how did you get this, say you contacted the police and they gave it you over the phone, say they said they are too busy to deal with such a low priority crime especially over the holidays (only say the last part during the holiday)

Thanks for the reply. Well personally I have never had an issue. I’ve done Amazon, and various clothes shops. Usually I get asked in the chat then go back into the chat shortly after. If you want you can use real details but essentially the post is to say you can easily acquire one. If they were to say that to me. I would say that’s the wrong one sorry, then redo with correct details. Personally I’ve never had them checked .

That's interesting. I never heard of this before. If I run into any subsequent issues that require a PR I might consider giving this a go. Thanks for the tip!
