How to SE a ski pass / ski rental #1
Hellooo everyone,

I might go skiing for a week, and I wonder how difficult it would be to SE a ski pass or equipment rental?

All this costs a lot of money and it would be amazing if we could come up with an efficient technique to avoid paying for all this.

What do you think about it?

All the things I'm writing here are pure fiction (yes I have a lot of imagination)

Wouldn't it be easier to buy Ski equipment and claim DNA?
I plead the fifth.

You will have to be there physically while skiing, so I think the easiest thing to do is to SE ski equipment.

Best way to save with ski passes is to buy from someone who doesnt want to ski anymore that day.
In some resorts there is a grey economy where ski shops source used or bought passes from somewhere.
Or go halfs with someone to share the ski pass/costs.

They say they monitor this but I think it is unlikely they are that advanced and really follow up on this.

In terms of a ski pass, break/bend part of the rental equipment and tell them you had a nasty fall due to equipment failure.

Request a refund thereafter.

Very legit. What happened was that the boot kept getting de-attached from the bindings which caused quite high speed crashes.
In the shop they said they were from that season but I do doubt that. The lack of customer serice mentality in that country meant that a genuine a complaint at the rental place didn't get much gain. It did not matter as much as the cost was extremely cheap.
In a more developed country it would have worked very well.

If you walk in a with a limp and act you can get some gains via blaming failing ski equipment for sure.

It can certainly be pulled off without too much hassle.

It's all about how you word and physically present yourself.

Absolutely but in a customer focused country it does not require much effort.
However if this is not the culture you will get little benefit even from a genuine claim.
