Amazon DNA question.... or Best buy, etc?

So I've read about DNA stuff for years and never took the plunge. My receiver finally died on me yesterday and I can't afford to replace it. I'm not going super greedy with what I want but it's $400 before taxes on Amazon and Best Buy. I've had Prime for many years now and have never messed around on it at all, but from what I'm seeing the whole DNA thing has gotten more difficult. Also Amazon ALWAYS takes a picture of whatever they deliver so does that mean no go?

I know back in the day Best Buy was pretty doable too but not sure if that's changed. No Best Buy history at all (no account). Any guidance would be great. In the US if it matters.

I just hit Best Buy on a brand new account for a new Macbook Air M2, DNA'd it, got refunded.
Even if Amazon does take a picture of it, it doesn't signify the carrier handed it to YOU, therefore DNA can still be used.
I'd say hit Best Buy because it seemed the easiest for me and I wouldn't wanna use DNA for only $400 on a great Amazon account.

Absolutely spot on.

Not really "complications", Bestbuy ordered the refund, got it refunded, while my claim with UPS was closed with proof of delivery.
