I recently hit on a PS5 from Playstation direct. I've heard that DNA doesn't work because Sony will brick the consoles if DNA is used, so I was wondering any good methods for going by this.

I think this you should ask about your PlayStation directly to the manufacturer. I also had the same problem and got very detailed support.

Hey, sorry for not being on. I recently received a refund for the PS5 by having a Fedex insider do a scan on the return. It took a while but I eventually got the refunded.

It did however take upwards of a month to receive the refund after making the “return” as well as back and forths with customer service. This method also doesn’t brick the system as long as it isn’t turned on before receiving the refund. For anyone trying to do this, be prepared for a long process, but if any other stores have PS5s in stock, I would recommend doing those instead.
