Target SE - Returning Ninja blender

Hey y'all, planning to doing a quick SE on Ninja Creami from Target in store tomorrow. https://www.target.com/p/ninja-creami-ic...A-81665008

Thinking of returning it the same day replacing it with a $10 blender from Walmart or smth. Packaging seems too complicated to open. https://youtu.be/RfwwuqUcqps?t=100

Will return this during rush hour in target. Do you think this should work? @mothered need your advice on this. Am I complicating this too much?

A cheap ass mainstays blender as replacement should do the job? Can't think of what else I can add as weight.

Doesn't seem like it will hurt to try, worst case they end up opening it, you say you had mistaken your blender for the creami and ask to keep the packaging saying you will come back tomorrow to return it then either try again or do a real return.

Sounds like a plan to me! I am like 90% sure they won't care to open, but just wanted to ask worst case

@mothered just got the item today. Since I can't find anything that is even remotely close to the weight of this damn blender 🤣 I'm just gonna put the walmart blender in it and say I received the wrong item and the box was not sealed from the start (which it actually was not).

Lets see what happens lol

Fingers crossed they don't liaise with their Invoicing department to check If It's a returned product.

Update: Went at the busiest time at target (10+ people in line), and said I found wrong item in the box. The rep said looks like someone returned wrong item in there. Got my money back Smile

A great job Indeed on your end, congrats.

This clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of attending during the busy period to maximize the SE's success. And It did exactly that.
