So what?
How can CCTV footage possibly conclude
the goods were enclosed? If they cannot provide evidence of that, then their Investigation Is deemed Inconclusive, hence the claim must be approved due to Insufficient evidence.

Absolutely spot on.

And?
Did the footage capture the contents enclosed? Obviously not.

They were like "you would need to contact your bank then if you want your money back, because as it stands, nothing can be done."
Rubbish.
Tell them to escalate your claim on the grounds of Insufficient evidence as discussed In my first quote above.

Not yet.
Request the escalation.

Can you explain your process? Did you initiate a return and then JL sent you a postage label from EVRI which you then manipulated to facilitate the LIT?
Also what is the difference between FTID and LIT ? I know the outcomes are different but what are the mechanics of a LIT ?

I've asked for another escalation and should hear back in 24 hours. They don't know how to respond when I asked the reps, how they know if the item is in the box or not.

Good.
They must address the question you put forward.

That's because there's no way for them to provide evidence of what was enclosed In the box at the time their CCTV captured the footage.
It's a huge vulnerability that should be exploited against every company that operates similarly.

Yes. I initiated a return and got an evri label. I then manipulated the label so it becomes "lost in transit".
LIT is better because it makes the tracking stop somewhere in the tracking. Ftid, companies will investigate and it's easier for them to deny claims because the courier will tell them gps coords, weight of package, etc. LIT just shows the tracking has stopped and of you use a courier that is actually shiy like evri, you're good to go.

They're a variant of each other, that Involves label manipulation to succeed.

Very nice indeed, what is your success rate from using LIT ?

They got back to me with the same reply, saying that on this occasion they are unable to help and recommend that I contact my bank. These are all different people and they call me each time and all of them say the same thing.
I have escalated it to the highest it will go. Their senior member of team called me today to apologise for the inconvenience and said the same thing.
Any idea what I should do next?
