Ps5 Walmart SE #1
So I’m currently trying to SE a ps5 I haven’t had much luck on PS direct even buying one legitimately or any store for that matter because they go sold out within an hour but this website QVC has them in stock for ridiculously up-marked prices so I’m trying to see if anyone has experience with this website if DNA works with them or if there’s a better website with higher chance of success?

First and foremost, are they liable for lost shipments?

Looking at their terms and conditions, it appears they may not be: "The risk of loss and title for all products purchased by you and shipped by QVC or one of QVC’s vendors pass to you upon delivery to the carrier for shipment." Didn't see this the first time I read through it. Does the "disposed of faulty item" seem plausible for this console? I haven't really found any articles of SEs on this particular website so Im not sure if i should try this one or maybe walmart but i know how terrible their customer service is especially with a high tag electronic like this.

Yes, they've released themselves from liability the moment the shipment Is In the hands of the carrier.

That's why I asked to check prior to proceeding with the DNA.

It's certainly compatible but It's likely the return will be requested, so do expect a lengthy process. The wrong Item received method Is also an option.

So i've read. I have browsed through their catalogue and the only items of similar shape and weight to the PS5 are other consoles, none of which are cheap enough to merit a profit worthu of trying to do this method.

Im considering trying to DNA the PS5 from either walmart or sams club, both of which have a good account standing with no prior SEs. Has anyone had experience with sams club SE's? it says they're liable and refund lost shipments, Maybe they're better customer service than walmart's ?

I'm guessing you meant to spell "sam's club" Lmao but in that case i think i will go with walmart, it seems like the safer option here, although i've hit them before they do have terrible service with these things. This will be my first dna with walmart for an electronic over >$500. The first one was denied due to a picture haven been taken upon delivery. Their usual go-to answer is to transfer to a higher-up and then thats where claims usually get denied for me and directed to file a chargeback.

The photo was of the package only my doorstep and part of the door was visible. I tried saying it wasnt my doorstep maybe wrong address and the first rep i spoke to was about to process the refund but just my luck, my phone died right at that moment ending the chat and the following reps just straight up denied me lmao.

I Just put in the order for walmart for Ps5 total $810 arriving friday the 18th. I put on the delivery instructions for the package to be handed to me directly due to them usually leaving it then causing them to take the photo, not sure if this was the right move or not though.

Also the Ps5 is being sold by a Pro Seller but it is fulfilled by walmart.

I'm pretty sure if you told the carrier to deliver it to you by hand, they would consider that giving them instructions. Usually in the case of you giving them delivery instructions, the DNA doesn't go very well, probably especially with you stating to deliver it directly to you by hand.
