Collectively, they don't.

Can't generalize, It depends on the Item weight.
For Instance, define "lighter GoPro models". The term "lighter" could be anything.

There are many tech-based Items and apparel that capture my Interest, but the first port of call when EBing, Is to Identify the precise weight.
With what you've told me about weight I've been considering IEMs, specifically the Sennheiser IE 300. The product apparently weighs 8 grams (4 for each side) and ~20 grams for the cable, 28 total. Perfect for EB, but previous forum posts have indicated problems with the EB method on Sennheiser products. Is this because they have CCTV in their factory or are they just strict with claims? Hypothetically to try on Amazon US with EB method. What do yall think?

What Issues did they experience?

Even If CCTV cameras are In place, they're useless for the product you're SEing.
The Item Is fully enclosed In cardboard and given you'd claim that It was missing from the box, It will render the footage Inconclusive - the cameras cannot see what's Inside the box.

Will EB it soon then. I think generally PR requested which is common with Amazon I guess but also inquiries/escalations being required and denied with the reason being "we have reviewed your claim but have verified that our product was sent". Being ghosted after asking for evidence, chargebacks are the only option left which are often lengthy/annoying.
Hopefully I don't have this problem though, will update yall w/the results.

It's very poor management.
Claims are declined without a shred of evidence In support of their decision. They could've made the whole thing up, and they expect you to believe It?

mothered quick question: Is there a min value where amazon starts asking for police reports on eb method? I don't mind filing pr but i plan on doing bigger SEs later and I'm assuming filing more than 1 pr a year would be suspicious? The item in question is $200, there's probably not a hard set cutoff where they don't ask for PR but it can't be feasible for them to request PRs on all items regardless of value right?

There are no hard and fast rules.
A while back, I experienced a PR for a 50$ Item and sometime later, a PR was not needed for a claim valued at 300$ that was based on a similar approach.

Update: success! No pr, approved in less than 10 minutes with EB. All purely hypothetical of course
