Thanks! Just curious though, why wait until the day after the delivery? I imagine it would be pretty reasonable to be anxious/annoyed if the package didn't arrive even though on the website it says "arrived", and a customer would be motivated to contact support?

You're physically waiting for the package to arrive, as opposed to keeping track of Its activity on the site - which Its delivery status Is not always accurate In real time, hence the wait.

another question is the method of contacting amazon, is chat preferred or a phone call to the support preferred?

Quick update, I got the thing and waited a day to contact support. They told me to wait for 3 business day for investigation, I guess everything seemed normal?
