So I found a serial number for a benq monitor. I can fake the pop but how would I get approved for a new monitor? I was thinking of saying that the monitor was on fire and I had to dispose of it but they might ask for evidence. Should I maybe send a corrupt file?

Not the excuse i would have started with but you never know how these things turn out.....i guess keep at it. As mentioned in another thread you will probably be best with a photoshop but then again if an immediate fire hazard was caused from the monitor, would your first instinct be to take a picture? Use that to your advantage.

That's the least of your concerns - simply Photoshop It.

It's problematic when they're adamant on the return.

So I found a guy for the pop and I found another guy to photoshop the photos. Before I purchase their services, is there anything I need to know about? Since I’ve only done an easy S/N, to me it looks doable since I have the evidence which is the most important part.

It's very likely they'll request the return, so be prepared for It.

What if I said that I disposed of it?

The disposed of the faulty Item method can be a lengthy process, hence you'd need to push reps to their limit.
