I have a fresh amazon account, bought a lenovo laptop for 1080 euros. The order is international
I'm thinking of using the sealed box method but in a different way, instead of shipping it back,
I'll take pictures of the package, fill it with bricks that are taped so they don't make a sound.
Then, record a video with my friends as if I'm unboxing the laptop and cutting the tape I resealed.
I will act very shocked in video and go outside of camera to apply something that make me look like I'm crying
afterwards I will contact amazon live chat, explain my case, send the images (before I opened the package) and the video (after I sealed the package to perfection)
would this method work? thanks for your time

I really have no issue with that, I can push them, and I have a long time. Plus I will check if the laptop contains any tracking software including lojack.

If you have any ideas or methods please feel free to let me know and I will keep everyone updated once I get my shipment (its international so will take 2 or 3 weeks at max)

Can I do this method without having to ship it back? I can use an old friend laptop and make it look like the box is perfectly sealed and then act surprised

Amazon won't fall for It.

They're meticulous with checking returns, and cross-checking them with their accounts/Invoicing department.

So nothing can be done without refunds right? I guess I will just risk it with the first method and if it fails I guess I'll call it a day

No I mean without having to reship anything back, because I need the laptop and laptop box for personal reasons outside of SE, also I've read a lot of your articles recently I really appreciate them and thank you for your great content
