Over 200€ worth in sunglasses delivered on the 9th.
I immediately went into chat and claimed EB: I was asked whether I wanted refund or replacement and to send some pics to an email.
The next morning I got a weird automated email detailing how I was to send an unknown something back, and at my own expense too. In the same email, though, the return status showed up as "Finalized".
I was getting ready to contact Oakley via chat again when I got a 2nd email, this time by the same agent I had first talked to via chat, telling me the refurn had been processed. No mention of a return whatsoever.
I told myself to wait and see without contacting them about it, and I was right: close to midnight I got an automated email saying that my return had been "Approved / refunded" and, right after, I got some from Klarna telling my payments to Oakley had been suspended and refunded.
I already have my money back this morning Wink

Long story short: it looks like many companies (Oakley, Ray Ban, even Meta) process refunds as if they were returns, even though there's nothing to return.
So don't get worried when you see the word "return" appear in some email: most of the times it's automated and they don't really expect you sending anything back to them.
Everything I post here is fictional. Anything mentioned on my posts that corresponds to events that happened in real life is coincidental.

The same happened to me when EBing Ray Ban, even though they sent a different courier than UPS: the refund was completed and I didn't give him anything.
This time, though, it looks like the return was marked as finalized since the beginning xD

No, absolutely fresh.
And, if I were to get a 2nd pair, I'd rather create another fresh account using different credentials.

This process works with all luxottica brands

All come from Italy, and all ship with ups!
