Help SE'ing multiple packages #1
I'm planning on doing two SE's from Parachute Home and Urban outfitters. However, both stores are shipping all items in multiple packages. The amount ordered from UO is a around $600 (2 packages from UPS and 2 from USPS) and Parachute is 1.2k (3 packages all from UPS).
When i contact customer support I'm going to tell them that i was out of town during the date of the delivery (i actually will be out of town) and that i got home with none of the packages there.

Do you guys thing that the DNA method would work?

Are they arriving on the same day?

That's provided they leave the packages unattended at your home.

Will a signature or otherwise be requested on delivery?

No signature will be required.
UO Delivery estimates for 2 packages are for 8/3 and 2 for 8/5. Parachute est delivery is 8/4 3 different packages.

They will most likely leave them in attended. UO most likely will leave the clothing in an Amazon Locker.
Usually when SE’ing something in a locker, I tell the store that the carrier left the locker wide open and it was empty or it was empty upon opening. <-- this has actually happened to me before. Also, there are times when i would get the code for my amazon locker package, punch in the code to open the locker, but nothing is in there when actually its just sitting out in the open in that mail room because the items is too big to put in a locker - they do this as a notification for us that its arrived and delivered.
For Parachute, since it’s a whole bed sheet set, it prob won’t fit in an Amazon locker, so they’ll prob leave it out in the mail room where there is a chance it could actually get stolen.

So that's 3 full days of deliveries you need to work on.

There are a lot of variables.

Please reply when you have a clear Indication of how each consignment will be delivered, as well as the approach you plan to use.

Since UO and Parachute is both using UPS. if i DNA both stores within a few days apart do you think UPS will have their suspicions about me?

It's not excessive and given they're separate companies that delivered at different timeslots, It's less likely to raise suspicion.

So i've contacted both companies and have started the DNA. Seems that both companies are launching an investigation or just contacting UPS. Should i be worried? 2 different companies, shipped to 2 different addresses at different days, but all linked back to one phone number?

You'll be fine.

I highly doubt they'll delve Into the phone number. It's the addresses that's the focal point of attention.

Successfully DNA'd Parachute. Everything went smooth, all i had to do was wait a few business days after and stuck with the DNA and now refund is processing.
UO just got a confirmation for a refund on package 1 and still waiting for the second one. Didnt want to be greedy DNA the other 2 packages since they delivered with USPS.
Just waiting for CarID to finish their investigation.

Good work, congrats.

Well done with remaining adamant on the DNA.

You did the right thing.

Claiming the DNA on both shipments could've jeopardized the entire SE.

If you don't receive a response In due course, get In touch with them and ask where they're at with the Investigation.
