Trying AMD SE #1
So, I've been trying some SEs using just a Serial Number and a Proof of Purchase and so far I've scored a nice pair of HyperX Cloud Alphas, but recently I got a new GPU for my PC (Which I could SE) and I noticed I could use a new CPU too, having spent so much money on the GPU already I dont feel like forking another 300/400€, that being said I'm trying to SE AMD into sending me a new CPU for free, so far they asked for the PoP, which I made myself "by hand", and a picture of the cpu on my motherboard to which I replied with a corrupted picture.

As usual I'll keep you updated!

HyperX didn't ask you to send the item back or pictures? Could you elaborate on that SE if you don't mind please? I think AMD is going to be harder.

HyperX did ask me for pictures, but only of the headset and a paper with my name/date from 2 angles, which I asked a friend to take, and no they did not ask for the headset back.
It was simple I started it as a live chat on their site and the rep agreed to ship a cable to see if it would fix my issue, received the cable, said it didn't fix it, they asked for pictures and after that they shipped the headset.

Can't wait to hear news from you as I myself have a high end AMD SN with real POP.
Think it will be ready arduous to get anything done with corrupted images. Usually using Photoshop saves lots of times.
How do you plan to return the CPU? Or do you just plan to go 'disposed of the faulty product' route.
Cheers mate.

The SE succeeded at that very point.

What processor do you have? I'll probably have to retry this SE as I went in there blindly, might try to box them or something tho.

I have SN and POP for $700+ RX series. It's not my and I don't own it. It's from a marketplace.

Their support is pretty slow, so far I've been convincing him that the corrupted picture works on my end, if he agrees to replace it I'll try to box them, which will be my first attempt at it.
