Congrats.

Well done with remaining adamant and persevering throughout the entire claim.

I've completely missed this quote.

The point Is, the police do not provide It, so that Information should be forwarded to Apple and they can sort It out between themselves - Apple & the police department. It's been a week since your last post. Any updates?

I think i updated it in another thread related to this, regardless, got my refund out of nowhere. took alot of hassling. my main problem now is the switch ftid. been more than a month and they just keep saying their team is working on it. my idea is that they are trying to find the 'switch' when i sent an envelope. i think they are stalling on me so i forget about it.

Did you have a phone number at all to contact Apple investigators on? Or a escalation department? If so would you mind sharing?

Can I ask for the one time exception to not send it back and have the refund anyway ? Maybe by making up an excuse saying that I'm leaving the country for an unknown amount of time and that I didn't take it with me as it was not working at all.
You can ask for a one-time exception during the claim's assessment (using the excuse above), when It's at the stage of Apple requesting the Item be returned.

Thanks for your response @mothered !

The iPad will arrived in a couple days. Will try that and let you know. Do you thing that just saying the iPad doesn't turn on is enough or should I raise an other problem (and if yes any idea of something that could work ?) ?

All the things I'm writing here are pure fiction (yes I have a lot of imagination)

Yes, simply say the device Is not functioning - It will definitely suffice.

They have submitted a exception and Said they would contact me in 24 hours, when they called they wanted to know who told me to dispose of the phone. They then escalated it to the shipping department and I should receive another a call.
