This is a question to all Germans here, as well as everyone who feels can answer my question.

How are your experiences with the DNA method so far? Before Corona I always had to sign upon receiving a package. Now its different, for example Hermes lets you still sign, but with a pen directly on your package which they then take a photo of. So no DNA possible here. But what about DHL, they dont aks for anything but to come in and personly give you the package, thats it. Wouldnt that be perfect for a DNA?
I am really unsure though, the Tracking will show that it was delivered to me. Any experiences so far, especially with high value items?

Who's to say the signature belongs to "you?". Anyone could've signed, perhaps the driver - which I continue to experience on a weekly basis. There are a number of possibilities as to why you didn't personally receive the package:

• It was given to the wrong person
  
• Dumped at your doorstep
  
• The driver took It with him/her.

For obvious reasons, perfect DNA material.

No It doesn't. It shows It was delivered to your "address".

Tracking cannot confirm person-to-person delivery, which Is why the DNA renders It useless.

best thing you can get is the delivery person to just dump it in your hallway. say u under the shower or something if he can wait or just put it down in the hallway. its probably the best thing that can happen for DNA in germany

You won't notice the delivery nor can you speak while In the shower.

Communicate behind the front door (closed), and say that you've just come out of the shower naked.

Well now Im really curious of just trying this out with a small item, then again I should probably keep this incidents for higher value items, no? Thing is that I know my Delivery guy, not really personly but i know after indirectly blaming him for a lost package, I will face him again amd again. Maybe he is also allowed to ask me to sign in future. Not sure.

Cornerning the trackin @mothered actually the tracking Shows "delivered to recipient" or "delivered to neigubour (Name)".

If you're referring to a trial SE (practice run), simply use a separate account.

Thing is that I know my Delivery guy, not really personly but i know after indirectly blaming him for a lost package, I will face him again amd again.

In that case, It's best not to use the DNA - It will Impact the driver, personally.

As long as you've specified a direct delivery to your address, what It shows Is Irrelevant.

All you're concerned with, Is physically/personally not receiving the package.
