I've been In a similar position with correspondence received to the same effect, and was In fact refunded.

If It's warranted, yes, however the evidence Is against the OP, hence a chargeback Is futile.

Not true, if they've provided him a label, whether the account is close or not, the return and refund process will go through as usual. I know this because my accounts were recently closed and I used a label after and got a refund and the refund email.

Not always. I had the ofm email and account closure. I emailed the Jeff bezoz email and it was resolved and refund issued.

I actually disagree, I read your thread and the accounts you restored were not ofm'd. I'm facing the same situation as the OP. They locked 2 accounts of mine, sent back another label then, I legit sent back the item. Now they just don't want to refund me because they closed an account of mine even though they told me they would once the parcel arrive at their warehouse. I will probably chargeback because I just can't anymore. They are purposely lying to the clients, they don't care.
