So, I'm trying to make AOC send me a free monitor, I told the mine caught on fire (like everyhting on my house LMAO) and they asked my for my POP, I've sent them the original one from when I actually got the monitor, then they asked me for the serial number, I'm waiting on them right now but the rep was very quick to reply (under 5 minutes) and he was actually pretty nice and helpful (unlike amazon's it seems lol).
I'll keep you updated, if this works I'll use my POP to make fake ones and get S/Ns from ebay or local marketplaces for free monitors.

He was generally helpful, very quick at replying, but now they sent me an email to confirm my info and there might be someone coming to pick up the old monitor, idk, I emailed him saying I disposed it, lets see how it goes ahahah

Yes, it has my address and shit, but I dont think they'll come, even if they do I can just tell them they made a mistake or wtv

Well, you've disposed of the monitor, so you can't give what you don't have.

tried sth similiar with msi but they are very adamant about picking up the monitor before issuing a replacement even though I insisted I need one for work
