I just tried SE airpod pros from amazon and they said they will need a police report although this is my first ever refund with them. I made a police report and sent it to them and I've requested a chargeback from the bank, anything else I should do?

You need to be adamant and keep insisting with your version, telling what the police told you and keep contacting them on a regular basis

So I should keep calling and messaging them about it? Because everytime i contact them they say that they will send the case to a team that deals with this problem and then i always get the same email about they cant do anything about it without a police report so its just an endless circle

I wonder does amazon consider a chargeback same as refund?
For example if one would try DNA but did not want to file a PR which they asked for and claimed a succesful chargeback instead, would amazon flag such account just the same as with providing a PR and claiming standard refund?

they said I needed the department name and how to contact them, but when I called the police they told me they think it has something to do with the delivery driver and they can’t continue with a police report as they don’t think it’s a crime. So I called amazon and spoke to the manager and they still won’t budge saying I have to have a police report although I told them what the police said. I didn’t get a letter as this was on the phone but I have a transcript of the chat that they sent me. I explained it all to them and they still don’t care

I mean will they care? Cause i have sent them transcripts of my chat with the police and they dont care, Im thinking about getting someone to just do ftid for me
