How to take advantage of "lost shipment" 05-28-2022, 06:01 PM

Hello,
I just ordered an apple watch from Target, and about a week later I've just checked and the order hasn't moved. Upon contacting chat support they told me the order was lost, even though the carrier's website doesnt say that. This is frustrating and I was wondering if there is any way I can use this to my advantage, ie still get the order and a refund or SE somehow.
Thanks
edit: They quickly refunded me which may change things. I believe the order may still be out there getting processed, not sure.
