Playstation DNA (UK) #1
Ok. So I ordered a PS5 that got delivered via ParcelForce. No signature required. The company also didnt send me any tracking details until i emailed them about PS5 missing (DNA) - will use to my advantage.

I have since triggered a PayPal claim (probably stupid of me) as no signature was required. The company have sent the tracking details to Paypal but there is no photo or sig. just that it got delivered.

As of now, the company havent got back to me and Paypal are 'investigating'...

Any advice on how to follow up/ go from here

Thank you

The perfect Ingredients for the DNA to succeed.

Not a good move.

PayPal uses GPS/tracking Information to verify receipt of goods, hence tends to side with the seller on almost every occasion.

So what is the move if the company and courier says it was delivered but no signature or photo etc was taken? Whats the next step after that as they'll likely decline a refund from there

Kind regards

Under the circumstances, It has a very high chance of success.

Essentially, If you remain adamant and persevere with the claim (If need be, escalate It) a favorable outcome Is expected.

Say that a family member accepted the package In your absence, then return It for a legit refund, and reorder It on a different account and SE It using another method.

Or he can just resell the PS5 for 1.5x the price since they're still unavailable everywhere

Good thought.

My previous post Is based on keeping 100% of the Item value.

Of course, of course, that's the same excuse I'm planning to use for any failed EB attempt (currently trying to hit Oculus, will post a thread when it's done)

For your reference, Oculus has the capacity to track serials to see If the device Is/has been In use.

Yeah, I've heard of the guy whose SE failed because he activated it too soon
I was actually planning on getting another one from amz and then returning this one, therefore swapping the SN with a fresh one, I guess it would work as I doubt they keep track of the SN associated with every order, as it's not their own hardware?
