Can my roommate SE on the same address as me or will that be a problem?

It really just depends on the company your trying to SE and the checks they do for every accounts/orders.
In most case it can be just fine but sometimes it will get the account flagged or banned, if your roomate did not enter the adress for now, change some characters and like use abbreviations, "11633 Hawthorne Boulevard" becomes "11633 Hawtorne Blvd", sometimes it prevent the account from being flagged and the courier will still be able to find the adress via the postal code.

Might flag as same address, as suggested above, maybe just write same address in a different way.

I suggest using totally different credentials.

Always keep each SE dedicated to Its own environment.
