Is this a safe way to exploit / engineer? Zalando #1
Hi, so after reading many guides online I think it's a time for me to start with something small - to gain some confidence.

The plan:

1. Order from Zalando 4 pieces.
2. When I receive it, call in like 10 minutes their support that I received the order, but one item X is missing.
3. ?
4. Profit

You see - I don't want to do other methods because I don't want to put a delivery guy at risk (claiming I didn't get the whole order for ex.).

What happens if they will see that package with all items has 1750 g, and the delivery company received correctly the package at 1750 grams? I'm just wondering.

Thanks for any advice or input.

Thanks for the reply! Here is the full cart: https://imgur.com/w6E9HEC

The item I'm planning to engineer is Calvin Klein sunglasses. I'm hoping they are too small to be recorded with any significant amount of grams - but it comes with a small box so I guess it can have like 100-200 grams.

Other than that - there is no information anywhere regarding the weight.

Also - not sure if it's everywhere, there is a pickup option allowed in my country where I can go pick up the package in third party companies. Not sure how it's called in English. So I'm thinking it might be better since they really can't do anything with the investigation in case they decide to do so and there won't be any courier at risk (which is my goal). Let me know your thoughts guys - I will wait for your recommendations.

Thanks

The pickup point sounds like a good option and is compatible with the missing item method, plus you won't "burn" your real address right away so you can use it again on a new account

The glasses are most likely in the right weight range, you can just weight them yourself when you get them, with or without the case, and if any of the two is around 100gr you're good to go!

^ Check If Amazon stocks the same product.

If so, the Item weight Is listed under "Product Information".

In terms of the EB/missing Item method, you're purely claiming It was not In the package/box when you opened It, so whether the package Is collected or delivered, Is not relevant to the claim.

Thank you guys for your effort to help, really appreciate that.

As mothered said - It makes no difference whether the package was collected or delivered - so I will order it normally to my home. On Amazon I found similar piece, but it's weird because under some products there is weight - and under some there is not. It's fine tho - I doubt it will have much g. Will see - I'll order this upcoming week and will update this once.

Also.. I am a big guy into fashion and I bought a lot from Asos - but I heard they have CCT cameras so not sure - I have a buying history there so I guess they would give me refund just for the sake of it with EB/missing Item method - anyways, can I find somewhere on the forum some list of fashion stores that don't have CCT cameras? I will be buying some clothing for summer + vacation so it would be nice to save some money Smile

Cheers!

ASOS definitely has CCTV cameras In operation.

Unfortunately, It doesn't work that way. If It did, they'd be SEd left, right, and centre.

Every claim Is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
