Effect of SE Uber eats on small restaurants? 03-26-2022, 08:59 PM

I’ve had a look through a few methods of SE Uber eats and most of them tend to be saying food is burnt, hair on food, etc... DNA is looked down upon as it damages the deliverer, which I completely agree with. However, wouldn’t the other methods also damage smaller restaurants, or are you only meant to SE Uber eats when ordering from large, chain restaurants like McDonald’s, kfc etc...
Thanks

my understanding is that uber absorbs the financial costs rather than the restaurant in most cases
...I may stand corrected though
Uber, Just Eat and Deliveroo all do this you are correct. They take the loss and reimburse the customer themselves.

Thanks for the replies so far, but what I was most worried about was damaging reputation of restaurant. Surely if I claim that the food was burnt, or made me ill then restaurant’s reputation will be at risk, or does Uber not care at all?
